My mother and I ordered the complete set of the RAINBOW BRITE DVD collection for my daughter for Christmas from the DvdDonkey company. Order number 104222. Price was $84.18 total with $20.00 for shipping included. We ordered early, October 18th. We were told that it was to be shipped with Canada post.
I checked the status of the order November 1st because I was told when I placed the order that they would e-mail me a tracking number when the order was processed and shipped. I never received this info in any email.
I spoke online with "Marie". She gave me a tracking number,
"CX205779787CA". There was nothing posted on Canada posts' website.
I was guaranteed that they would be here by Christmas. "Marie " said that they were shipped on October 23rd. And that Canada post had not updated their site and they had no info to give me.
The 23rd of November I tracked the package with the tracking # that they gave me and Canada post stated that it was checked on November 18th in Brossard QC. I informed "Marie" of DVDDONKEY. She again said sorry and that they were coming. I requested 3 times that the order be reshipped and was never given a satisfactory reply other than sorry and that they were on their way. I informed my mother who paid for this with her credit card what was going on. She told me that she received her bill on her card statement and that they charged her card $91.32. Hello The quoted price was $ 84.18.
I took matters into my own hands and called the warehouse in Brossard Quebec and found out that they received the package on the 18th like the web site stated and that they shipped it on from there to where who knows?
When I informed "Marie" of this she didn't want to talk to me any more and kept trying to offload me onto another online customer person named Karen who Offloaded me back to "Marie. Here I sit December 10th. No DVDs no refund, because my mother's credit card company requires me to print out the order and the site will not let me do this unless I pay for another of there bogus products. My daughter has no movies my mother has to cancel her card and we pay for it in more ways than one. Buyer beware!!!
