Derek Dause aka Hollywood Soundz Entertainment called our company Boogie Down (mobile DJ company) to fill in for him at a corporate event he had booked.
He had an emergency and could not fulfill his obligation, so he called us to fill in for him. He had booked the event and collected the payment.
He agreed to our fee and would send payment. He has avoided our invoice notification, is deliquent on the payment and has made no attempt to pay.
We have filed with small claims court, and he has avoided being served. Thus, we cannot set a court date to receive a judgement.
He is still doing business in the area and is as slippery as ice.
