Mose Tolliver Well known deceased folk Artist is being slandered by a phoney Ebayer Alison Ahrens of Humboldt TN. She Goes by the Name of Bama_tide987 and her prior name was Standoutstore2000.
Alison Ahrens Paints Mose Tolliver folk art paintings daily. Freshly painted claiming them to be authentic. Well they are NOT. She has conned many buyers on Ebay and is making thousands off of innocent people.
She was exposed as a fake when she issued Outsider paintings by a made up artist who was supposedly deceased "Otonda Mosely". This person never existed. You can't find an Otonda Mosely on any search engine. Then there was Cozella Edgins, another made up folk artist. Then you have Box Car Billie that she tried unsuccessfully to sell. Another made up artist and a relative holding a picture to try to authenticate the piece.
She quickly changed her name to Bama_Tide987 after being revealed as a con on her Otonda Paintings. Now she is posting two and three Mose Tolliver pieces daily. She laughs and calls her customers "idiots" who buy her paintings because she is laughing all the way to the bank.
She also changed location of her items several times. First location Humboldt, TN; Next Alabama;Then Troy TN, Next was Alabama & TN (Yes! Both at the same time) Violation made her change back to a Tennessee. She Keeps her buyers private, Positive sign that you are hiding something.
Beyond a shadow of a doubt this lady is nothing but a con-artist. She has no respect for people, no respect for the Tolliver family and most importantly no respect for a deceased handicapped man, whom she claims her work are his signature and his art. Mose Tolliver Art work is being sold by endless sellers on Ebay. Maybe one out of twenty listings COULD be a possilbe piece by a family member of the Tollivers.
Alison Ahrens is faking art daily, conning people out of thousands of dollars and I KNOW this as a FACT. Help Stop Art Fraud.
