I had recieved a letter with a ck. That was made out for $2,650.00 on 12-19-06 and being before christmas and I had been off work since aug. 06. I couldn't believe it was real. So I had a # to call and ask for a james lam, he had a foreign accent he told me I had to deposit the check into my account to get the rest of my winnings and I was full of questions, like how did I win this. He asked if i play casino stuff online. I said no, he said well you won this out of a drawing out of vegas. I kept saying I don't understand how I won this, and he was gettig aggravated with me and finally he said do you play publishers clearing house. I said yes, he said ok go ahead and put the check in your account then you'll gett the rest in overnight express.
So I said ok and how much is processing fees, etc. He said $420.00 all together, and I would get $42,350.00 cause the total amount in the letter says $45,000.00, I kept thinking to myself the whole time what a scam. He was getting mad becuase I asked alot of questions. I also kept trying to agree w/him. They some how get the money out off your acct. Even the bank doesn't understand. The ck. Has DYNATEMP INTERNATIONAL INC.in Carlisle, pa. And on the letter its another address, WINDOWS CASINO PROMOTIONS winsor, ontario. I tried to find them on the web and couldn't so I searched the bank (pnc bank southcentral, pa) and got their #717-243-6021 called them and they said for me to take all of the stuff to the police dept. And have them fax it to them. They have no account and don't understand how they are doing this.
So I went to the police, but I made a copy of it first. I warned my family and I am going to go to the news paper to see if they want to warn local citizens about this. Thank God I didn't deposit that ck!
