We purchased tickets through www.ticketmaster.com for a concert in Kansas City. When we purchased the tickets online we MADE SURE to not sign up for any email notifications, discounts, coupons, etc. Supposedly you are notified by email of a 30 day free trial peroid that you signed up for. After the 30 free trial you are billed monthly.
Two months later we noticed the $9.00 charges this company takes from your account. Ticketmaster secretly passes your bank account information on to third party sites. If you are lucky enough to read this before you buy DO NOT USE ticketmaster or any affiliated company.
If you got scammed like my girlfriend and I:
Call this number and have a chat with those folks. 866-364-1333
You will have no luck trying to get your money back through them. Get a cancellation number and WRITE IT DOWN. They seemed to get mad at me when I said the word "scam". They insisted that it was no scam. Give the number to your bank so no more charges can be squandered.
I am currently disputing the charges.
Will update with more info on whether the bank dispute can get the money back.
