Circuit City ad on 7/31/05 showed 2 dvds, "Island in the Sky" & "High and the Mighty, " each as a 2 disc set, to be released 8/2/05.
By noon of 8/2, "High and the Mighty" was not available and "Island in the Sky" was only a 1 disc movie. A salesperson told me that only 3 of each movie were initially at the store. I asked for and was given a raincheck for the former.
The manager verified this (after I waded through a lengthy telephone voice mail). I was given no hint as to when the "High and the Mighty" might be restocked and was offered no further assistance.
