My first mistake was not to look a little harder on Amazon.com for an actual CD; all I found was MP3 downloads of a particular album.
Finding it on CD Universe as an "actual CD", I was stupid enough to place an order with them.
After the "expected delivery time" window expired, and, after I found that my article had been shipped to the wrong zip code, I contacted CD Universe. First, I was told that nothing was wrong, that my article was in California rather than Illinois (where I live) because it needed to go through a distribution hub.
Then DHL revised their delivery log indicating that my article had in fact been mis-shipped.
The next day, it was out for delivery — again — to the wrong zip code.
I have created a dispute with PayPal; hopefully THEY will be able to get my money back. I went online to check out other reviews of CD Universe; apparently I'm not alone; there seem to be plenty of other people out there who wish they'd never done business with them.
