I have been in the load process for almost 2 1/2 years. It started with CHASE losing my payment and then returning them back to me because they were not through certified funds? What? Then I get a call about my rate. They noticed it was about to adjust and they could help lower it and make it principal and interest; not just interest at 7.5%. That was a nightmare and I never received either. I was told to hold on to my payments during the process as they would collect at the end. LIE! I received harrassing collection calls then calls from attorney, foreclosure specialists, letters, etc. I didn't know why until I received a letter saying my home was in default and would be sold in Auction in a few weeks. I was floored! Knocked me to the ground to read this. I was calling to find out status and no response for 2 weeks! I was at their mercy to take whatever was given to me so I can stay in my home and heal from an emergency c-section. Payment went up almost $700 and Ive been trying to modify ever since. This has been such a horrible experience (to me) It's almost unbelievable that its happening. I now firmly believe that this whole modification ordeal is only going to get worse and right before Christmas. People will be forced to leave their homes; its happening now. I have no right word to explain my emotions but it has made me sick. Excruciating headaches, stomach pains, cghest pains. STRESS! Beyond belief, tremendous amount of weight gain, lack of sleep, twitches. OMG! My list goes on. I can imagine everyone else's health issues as well. PLEASE CHASE, this isn't our fault and we are asking for help/a second chance. Our fees are piling up and our chances are getting scarce. Not to mention that I WAS ADVISED by your representatives to be late on my payments so that my file would be taken into consideration for a loan mod or else they wouldn't accept it. Mind you, I was current until I became late, thereafter I panicked and wanted to make those payments but I was again advised that they would deny my file if I became current. I wanted to maintain 1 month past due but was later advised I needed to be 60-90 days past due. Who understands you? Who should I trust at this point? You have way too much personal information about me? I never get a decent person and I've been told every excuse possible including "it's the underwriter's personal choice of who he/she modifies." That doesnt sound FAIR or RIGHT. Either way, I've already dealt with rude and obnoxious representatives. The conversations are redundant and I never get a concrete answer nor speak to the same person. Another thing I caught on to was not all NOTES are recorded or noted. That is a huge problem.
