RE: Update from Corinthian about Remax
I received an email from Remax Central in Colorado and they set a meeting with the Regional Director of Guam (Leonard Campos), Director of Property Management of Guam (Brandon Wahl), Glenn Lujan, and me. All three blamed the property owner for the problems listed below:
1. Very low to no water pressure.
2. Toilet not flushing & sometimes overflowing.
3. Large amounts of trash outside.
4. No installed safety shutters (as agreed).
5. My water bill included the home next door.
6. Large amounts of termites.
In regards to number 5, I've been paying for two properties for a couple of months. During this time, Remax was adding $50 to the neighbor's rent for water.in regards to number 2, the EPA will be inspecting the septic leak outside on June 8. Remax is now at slumlord level. The end result is that Remax has found a way (loophole) to steal money from the renters and property owners. Example, to replace two screen doors for the owner of this property will cost about $400. Glenn, the property manager for this area, was fired after my meeting with upper management. Cheap shot Remax. Go down that chain of blame and find a scapegoat. One good thing came out of this - sharing the experience. Telling others (family, friends, co-workers, & colleagues) of my experience with Remax, brings tears to their eyes... After a few minutes of lively laughter - it's like amateur night and I'm doing stand-up. Actually, I'm a tech in the Aviation industry and most of my work is contract so I spend much time travelling. I'll be spreading laughter all over the world!
