I have had some bad experiencs with Home Depot in the past which has made me come to Lowes seeking better service and for the most part I have been getting better service at LOWE's. But recently I had a lot of trouble trying to purchase an entry door to be installed. I had left the Home Depot store nearbye who had advertised a sale on doors but I was not able to get any timely service there. So I came to Lowes to get the product. And ironically I received the same bad service or no service. I could not find any sales associate in that Dept to help me. I then went to the neighboring department and asked if they could page someone for the Doors dept. They reluctantly did after giving me the impression that this was an imposition on them. I waited for about 13 mins and still no one came. I then asked the neighboring dept associate how to contact a store manager. And got a very nasty reply to "go to the service desk of course".
At the service desk there were several associates there all busy. I quickly asked for a manager and the service clerk said one moment please. I waited for several minutes before I figured out that this clerk was not trying to contact a manager for me so I went to a cashier who made a call while I waited at the service desk. No one ever came so I asked another service clerk for a manager he also told me to wait a moment and he would try to contact a manager. The moment turned to minutes, so I left.
