Wow! Stay away from CertaPro painters!!!
We had them come and do a bit of drywall repair (which they subcontracted out) and paint in the rooms they did the repair. Simple work that I just don't have time to do. Part of this work was making sure that wires for the vanity lights were correctly placed and to texture any surfaces that were repaired to match existing texture. While they did a reasonable job in the master bath, the work in the hall bath is botched - and they BLAME MY WIFE for it! Apparently she should have halted work and pointed out everything wrong in the 20 minutes that the sales person was there. Mind you, I had marked the areas with issues as they had requested but because she did not stop them from continuing work it is our fault.
I have even been reasonable with trying to reach a middle ground. I offered to fix the work myself as long as we can deduct a reasonable amount from the bill. I offered to get another contractor in to give a quote on fixing the work and deduct that amount from the bill. I asked if they would like to come fix the work themselves and make it right.
I've given them a chance to make it right - let's see what happens! In the meantime, stay away!!!
