The installer warned us that unlike the show room the windows would be difficult to tilt in.
That was an understatement. Hercules could not push the slider wedges down to wedge the window open. It is almost impossible to pull the top window open on the wider windows. I blame the hardware design. The plastic wedges are flimsy and tiny. I finally used the but end of a hammer to push the wedges in.

We replaced 21 windows and a patio door. The order was clearly written up for window lift handles. The windows showed up without handles. That makes it difficult to open the window over the kitchen sink.
One window was broken. Parts are on order.
They forgot the extender handle for the patio door. Parts are on order.
The reason we went with Andersen rather then Pella or Marvin.
Experience and Cost.
Andersen stood behind their product in the past and got us to an excellent small contractor that really cared about the product when our E-glass failed and our ballisters (counter weights) stringers broke. They were less expensive. Too bad you need to be an estimator and a lawyer with these guys.
