Like some of the reviews I have read on websites 'BANK OF AMERICA, ' sold our loan to green tree servicing.'BANK OF AMERICA, ' went a year and a half holding up our loan. They lied about our interest twice as to how much it was going to be. They lied again and said we had signed an agreement to a trial period being set up for 4mos. And when we asked them to send us proof of having signed they couldn't find the paper. They told us our interest rate was going to be a fixed amount for 30yrs. And instead the interest was going to be raised 3 times until it was 4.. 7.
Now we are being told lies by 'GREEN TREE'. They sent us papers to sign and returned by 8/12 with the interest rates same as 'BANK OF AMERICA'. When my husband called green tree to ask about the papers they told him that the payments were being changed and we would be paying 1022.00 every month. My husband asked if they would be sending us new paperwork explaining that we would be paying $1022 they said no to just sign the papers we had for $. 1304.33. My husband didn't feel that was right so we haven't signed anything. It should be against the law for a company to tell you to sign paperwork that states on amount but you/re going to be paying a lesser amount. I have been on the 'BANK OF AMERICA, 'website among others and I see that there are tons of complaints and lawsuits against them and I wonder if anyone has talked to a lawyer about this particular type of problems.
We asked ' ANDRE, 'the person at green tree if we could talk to someone else or someone higher up but he made up some excuses and in a round about way said "no." WE don't know what to do. We are disabled senior citizens and are lost as to what to do.
Please help.
