Starting at the beginning, my house burnt down. We went to Lowe's for all our interior. Within the last three years, I have one ceiling fan that doesn't work, lifetime manufacturer warranty, cannot get it repaired! 3 broken shower heads (they only seem to last about 2 months), so we bought them somewhere else (no problems). Every vent cover (14) is broken from the base. I have a water system that never has worked right from day one. To me, this just seemed that Lowe's sells junk and they keep themselves out of being responsible by telling us to take it up with the manufacturer. Now, my Samsung refrigerator is leaking water inside, ice maker or water doesn't work and I bought the EXTENDED WARRANTY!!! First phone call went to Lowe's at the end of September. I was told that someone would call to set the appointment for repairs... When the repair tech showed up at my house, he informed me that he was not authorized to work on Samsung refrigerators!!! REALLY, that only took a week and a half of wasted time. So, I call Lowe's again, they are going to send some new repair tech over and they inform me that they cannot remove the other techs from the list of repairing Samsung refrigerators! It is now 2 months into this repair of my refrigerator and these new techs have showed up here 3 different times, they are taking everything out of my frig, having it unplugged for hours at a time, and it still doesn't work! The repair tech told me that Lowe's uses used parts to do their repairs and they don't always work! The last time that I talked to the repair tech, 3 weeks ago, he told me that he was trying to order a NEW part to do the repair but kept on receiving the wrong parts. I CALL LOWE'S AGAIN, they tell me that the part that I need is on back order for the next 2 months. Improving home improvement. Really? At this rate my EXTENDED warranty will run out before this repair is ever made. Oh, I forgot to mention that this is not even the refrigerator that I bought to have delivered and Lowe's paid me to keep it because they couldn't even get the refrigerator that I ordered from the store!!!
