Okay I though I was alone in all of this. I mean I knew there were others that had problems but this is ridiculous. If this many people are having issues something is going terribly wrong.
I waited two years to get my child support order. It has been in place now for three years. Now that I am requesting to have a certifed copy of my own court order they will not give it to me. I have moved and would like to have it transferred to the state in which I now have residency. They give me the run around everytime I call. I have sent several request and each time I have been deined access. With no real reason.
I now have an attorney and if we are denied again we are going to file a suit in the Michigan SUpreme Court for vilolation of my constitutional right to my court records. There is nothing in the Michigan Constitution nor the Constitution of the United States that states I should not be allowed access to my own records. What are they trying to hide anyway. I guess that is a question that may never be answered.
