City of Boynton Beach Water Utilities
Utility Director Top management at Boynton allowed dangerous substance in Water poisoning kids Lead poisoning

My current concern is to warn South Florida about the City of Boynton Beach Water Utilities and their current Director named Kofi Boateng.

Kofi Boateng of Boynton Beach Water Utilities was known to allow large amounts of the toxic
element lead to poison and contaminate the nation's capitol water supply. This was done while he was a top level manager while working at his past position in Washington D.C.

This uncaring and unconcerned director did almost nothing to warn the people affected by this problem. He resisted all attempts to properly notify the affected public. Mr. Kofi Boateng has shown that he is a politician who worries about style and appearances more than substance.

Read the below Washington DC newspaper article links at the end of this for positive proof of what
is alleged here. Boynton Beach must really be scraping the bottom of the barrel to have hired someone of this background. They had to have known about this and just do not care about the health and safety of their cattle, I mean residents.

The managerss under Kofi, like Michael Low, are just as bad, if not worse, and spend money on worthless things and abuse power. Boynton has the reputation of being pay to play and it seems to be well deserved.

The whole upper management of Kofi and those under him should be given the opportunity to find employment elsewhere quickly.

Call the city commissioners @ 561-742-6000 and ask why these people are still employed?

Lead is a highly toxic element that is known to cause major learning and behavior problems in exposed children. Mr. Kofi Boateng was duly and properly told of these problem it was ignored. Kofi Boateng of Boynton Beach has shown that he was more worried about his appearance and the money cost with fixing the lead problem than with children being poisoned with his drinking water problem and poisoning children.

The individual that reported the problem with this story originally held a master's degree in a chemical background. She was in charge of the testing, reporting and managing water quality issues with the water testing laboratory.

She told of how she was fired from her job and was terminated just for doing her job and what she was paid to do. She was fired for properly reporting the lead poisoning problem with the US Environmental Protection Agency or just EPA for short.

Newspaper articles and a court case prove this is true and anything Kofi says to the contrary is a lie
and he is all too comfortable with telling lies.

Kofi was a top water level manager who was responsible for the compliance department with the Washington District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority or just WASA for short.
Mr. Kofi Boateng's position at the time was Department Director of Water Quality Services.
What a sick joke that was...

Mr. Kofi Boateng tried to ignore the lead problem with unusually high levels of lead in the publics drinking water that is out of compliance with local and national health laws.

Men, Woman and children were exposed to long term poisoning with extremely high levels of toxic lead. The symptoms of these health problems may lie dormant and not surface for many years. Mr. Kofi Boateng was not worried at all about the health of the people drinking his water.

Kofi would seem to only be worried about the money needing to be spent and perception of the drinking water public with water contaminated with lead, a highly toxic substance.

Kofi Boateng is just a politician and he fit in with the Washington DC crooks, in my opinion.
When this lead drinking water problem was first reported it was ignored by this politician. The lab worker went on to notify the proper local and federal water authorities. She was written up and was reprimanded for doing her job
then she was required to attend a class to respect the chain of command of authority of those over her.

In other words, do not do your job and let those over her cover up everything and if there is a lawsuit or problem they can blame and fire her (they did) and those under them.

Mr. Kofi Boateng, currently of Boynton Beach, was not in the least thinking about this persons required duty to report the lead problem in the drinking water to the local and federal agencies. She had all the liability of knowing of the problem with lead in drinking water and her name and signature would be on any submitted documents and she had the responsibility to report it.

Mr. Kofi Boateng wanted her to not report the lead problem and would that not present a legal problem for her? Quite a few cities demand that their laboratories have their personnel licensed by the state or local regulatory authorities. If she ignored the lead in the water problem as was demanded by Mr. Kofi Boateng then the EPA could have found out they were hiding health problems and fine her thousands of dollars. She would certainly lose her job in this economy and possibly be banned from future employment in the lab and public health field.

Ask yourself if you would want to spend thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours in classes for attending college for many years to be banned from a job by a politician that does not care about the health and safety of the drinking water public.

When this lead in the water news story was first published in the public newspapers and local TV media it was then when Kofi was worried about public damage control and cover ups.

This woman was able to file a whistleblower lawsuit and able to get her job back after being fired for merely doing her job. The courts found in her favor that she was fired in retaliation for just doing a proper job.

Kofi Boateng is a common African name. Google the name and you shall see many with the same common name. We are concerned about the director Kofi Boateng that works for the City of Boynton Beach water utilities in South Florida.

Here is the proof below that the story above is true.
