I am from rural Colorado, however I lived in the Denver metro area about six years ago. At that time when you drove e-470 you pulled on and paid a toll here and there as you drove along. I drove e-470 in July to Ft. Collins to attend a teachers seminar. There were no pull offs and only signs that stated DO NOT STOP.

I never received a bill, or notice just a fine for $294.00 When I called to complain it was explained that I could appeal but I would have to drive to Aurora to do so and if I lost the appeal I would be fined an additional $200 in court costs.

I would state to any one, do not use E-470! They say they send a bill but have no proof, i.E. Anything sent by registered mail. Their fines are ten times the toll fee, and theres no way to pay the toll as you drive the toll way.in my opinion the fines are a calculated way to rip off the public. The e-470 Public Rip-Off Authority should have a class action suit filed against them!
