The National Home Gardening Club sounded really interesting to me, so I joined in July. The cost was $12, with no mention of having to pay any more money.in their invitation to join, they promised that they'd send "free" gifts, such as pruners and other gardening tools. Along with the free gifts also came the allure of product testing, which meant that any gardening tool or device that I tested would be mine to keep... Free of charge.
Sadly, I never received any of the free things that they promised, except for one, ginormous headache!
They cashed my check in August.in October I started getting e-mails from them, stating that I owed them money.in November I started receiving letters. Now it's March, and they're threatening to send me to collections.
Their M.O. Seems to be that they do a bait and switch. They promise free items to hook you, and then they start sending letters that threaten you. They've actually sent members to collections, all under the guise that they've done their part.
If anyone has had this type of experience, please contact me. This company has to be stopped, because it's just not right!
