I have been a resident of Lauderdale Oaks Apartments since August. Around the eighth of December my oven wouldnt cut off, it stayed at least 400 degrees for three to four weeks straight I lost all the food that was in my cabinets because of the high tempertures in the kitchen.
So finally around the end of January or the beginning of February my landlord took out the damaged stove and replaced it with a stove that doesnt have a working oven. I have been without a proper oven for almost four months, I am 11 weeks pregnant and I cant continue to eat fried food until he decides to buy a stove or try to get the one I have fixed. He constantly makes excuses as too why I havent had a working oven but he continues to house people and they get all the appliances for their apartments but I have had no results.
I am just upset because I am a great tenant but he is a SLUMLORD all he wants is money he could careless about my well being or that of my unborn child. I really need some advice before I go crazy without my oven he has been giving me the run around for weeks even though I pay my rent every month and I am tired of it please help me with the situation asap.
