Unauthorized Charges

I hit the website on 2/15/09 for the free CD on grantwriting and gave credit info for the $3.95 S&H fee. After I Read through fine print and saw they would charge my account for Grant services if didnt cancel the membership by the end of the 7 day free trail period. I canceled on 2/18/09 as instructed in their terms agreement, using the contact link on the website. I received confirmation the same date advising my membership 1121353 was canceled. Thereafter, I detected a charge for 3 consecutive months of $29.95 for a total of $89.85.

I contacted the co which administers Grant writing express bil;ling - My fitness - click income (1-800-576-9441) based in Salt Lake Cuty, NV. Was advised by billing (ERIN) that I canceled my membership to grant witing and that I was being billed for grant mentor which I dint cancel. I advided I followed instructions they gave in the terms of their agreement on the website and demanded a refund. I was told by Erin that to fax the canellation confirmation I received that from Grant Witing express. I did this on 5/27/09,6/2/09 but have not received a refund. I spoke with Erin again this date, 6/30/09 and was again told I didn't cancel according to the terms of the agreement. When I asked her specifically what part of the website and what page of the tems she was referring to, she responded " I don't know know the website changes all the time" When I again questioned her and asked her what page of the terms mentions "Grant mentoring" she could't specifically tell me.

I have reviewed the terms of the agreement she referenced and I find no mention of Grant Mentoring." The only thing close says I was receiving a 7 day free trial as a bonus which " includes Grant Services and Training". This paragraph goes on to state you can cancel within the 7 day trial by "emailing from or contact form" which is wxactly what I did.

I am seeking a refund of $89.85 from this company plus any other compensation (i. E Punitive damages you deem approprite. I can be reached at 518-232-0697- Joe Legnard.
