While this fine gentleman sat as Mayor the town was shamed.
The city manager was found guilty of 3 election violations.
The mayor was found guily of three violations by Standards
and Practices involving misuse of his position in order to gain employment with the city on a position that was open.
The entire city counsel was found in violation of the public meetings law regarding executive sessions. The city was forced to make the tapes of that meeting public. On the tape you can hear one or more counselors actually talking about scare tactics and telling lies to get a water rate increase passed.
From 1991 until present the city has been run by the a hand picked pack of public employees.
The wages for a person working for the city are almost 2 1/2 times more than the average annual income of it's residents.
At last count 11 or 12 workers were costing the citizens of Estacada over $650,000.00 in wages per year.
The city has become a private feeding ground for the dozen piranha's that feed off them.
Most employees will retire making almost 4 times what the
current average retiree is getting.
Unincorporate today and quit feeding those who don't need it or deserve it.
