Mayor John Fabrizi, the mayor of Bridgeport, CT has admitted using Cocaine and being an alcoholic but refuses to resign. As a matter of fact, he plans to run for re-election. He replaced Mayor Joe Ganim who is serving some 12 years in prison for corruption. The state of Connecticut is riddled with corruption as the Governor John Rowland resigned as governor and did a year of jail time. The state and city are in a virtual mess of corruption and something new evolves every day, or so it seems. The US Attorney General has a permanent staff headquartered in New Haven, CT and is constantly on the job of investigation along with the FBI.
