Gas coupons Arizona

I received a phone call from someone with an "unknown name and number". She sounded like she was calling from a call center, accent was from India. She informed me that I had WON $300.00 of free gasoline coupons to use at any gasoline station in the USA. I asked who she was and she gave me some number and said she was from a company "EZ-ONE" or EZONE and that they were a marketing company and represented all the shopping malls and gas stations in the US.

She said that my name was chosen because I had used my credit card at malls and gas stations and always paid on time so they were rewarding just 20 people who were to recieve these gas rewards. I asked what the catch was and she said that they were rewarding ME for being a good customer and using my credit card. I asked which credit card, she could not tell me. I asked for more info on the company and a phone number, she gave me 800-923-8939 and said that it was just a marketing company and all they needed was any one of my credit card numbers and expiration dates or debit card number and only $1.95 for handlling would be charged and they would then mail me out my $300.00 gas reward coupons.

I declined to give her my credit card info stating that I never give that kind of info to anyone. She kept saying that it was only $1.95 and that I could spend the $300.00 at any gasoline station, and that they could not without my permission charge any more then $1.95. I told her that I did not know how they got my info but that they needed to choose someone else for their "coupons". She continued to try to change my mind.

While I had her on the phone I asked for a web site, she gave me EZone which I pulled up and got nothing on a marketing Co. She then said they would not be on the internet because they were just representing shopping malls and gas stations. I then found this (ripoff report) web site and lo and behold while I had her on the phone I saw "ripoff and ezone", I then read someone elses testimony about a supposed Grant he had received and ended up with $69.95 out of his account.

I read her the ripoff alert and told her to stop calling and get a ligitimate job. I then hung up.

Please be aware that you should never, never, never give your personal info to anyone calling or e-mailing you about a supposed win. Once they have your mailing address and credit card number they can continue to rip you off. What amazed me was how long this woman was willing to spend to try to convince me to change my mind and give her my credit card info.
