I am tenant at Island shores and the reason for my complaint is due to damages that i reported to them and were not repair within a reasonable time frame, for example i reported tiles coming of the master bathroom about 4 months ago, they never were fix until i wrote a letter to management complaining about it and requesting to have my lease released so i could move out the community, another damage i reported was the air conditioner not working but i was advised by the staff member that not having A/C is not an emergency and that i will have to wait to have it repair. Just so you know its only been 10 months since i moved in.
As a result of my letter, they reply back stating that the A/C was repair on the same date i reported it whcih is not truth because i reported the issue on Friday august, 8 and it was not repair until 8/11, and they also stated that i reported the tiles coming off on the same date i reported the A/C which is not thruth and have paperwork to prove it. So i believed the changed the dates on their system to make me look like a lier but the little they know that i usually keep all my paperwork for cases like this.
All I'm asking is to have my lease released and my deposit back for the end of this month, but they are not willing to do it, so here I am seeking for help.
