THE PASTOR IS A TYRANT
He is under investigation by DSS for child abuse.
He spys on members by following them.
He loses his temper and verbally abuses people.
In his words: When it comes to money, I'm a Jew. He pays his adult daughter $6.25 per hour to work in
the church's elementary school, but the minimum wage is $7.50 per hour
He threatened to announce publicly that a man was LAZY and a GLUTTON because the man would not agree to do 16 hours of volunteer work perday for the church, but did 1 hour of work per day and paid rent to sleep on the floor in a classroom (which is what the pastor agreed to). The man complained, and was evicted from the
church, and had to go to a homeless shelter.
THE PASTOR TEACHES:
2 people of different races should not marry
Getting welfare or food stamps is an abomination
Divorce not allowed even for adultery, contradicting Jesus.
All other Conservative Protestant Churches are bad (he told a woman who left his strict church to go to a
Nazarene Church she is a WHOREMONGER for doing so).
Even his adult children disagree with him on his refusal to listen to non christian music, contemporary christian music, and refusal to go to a party where alcohol is served.
Here's what happenned to me:
I lived at his church, and paid $200 per month, and did 1 hour of work per day. I also passed out tracts faithfully, and never missed going for 2 hours every week. (90% of his church members don't do this). I attended all his church services, and I did the cleaning work I had to. That wasn't good enough for him. He told me I should be working 16 hours a day volunteering for the church. I told him even young people only do 8 hours. He replied: "OK, then you should be doing 8 hours of work for the church without getting paid". He is trying to make it look like he is reasonable by meeting me halfway, but I know his tricks.
He told a guy that was considering moving in that he wanted 4 hours of cleaning work a day. I told the guy that Pesta Michael wants 2 hours but is telling him 4 hours so he will feel that Pesta is willing to meet him halfway. When Pesta realized he wasn't going to control me, I was of no use to him. He knows if he throws me out for no good reason, it will make him look bad, so he has to figure out a reason why, thus he is using the I am lazy, a glutton, on welfare reason.
The guy is no good. I have done nothing wrong. His behavior gives Christianity a bad name.instead of wasting your life in an awful church like this, I recommend you check out solid conservative protestant churches instead.
