The Red Tape Chronicles is MSNBC.com's effort to unmask government bureaucracy, corporate sneakiness and outright scam artists and supposedly one of the writers is Bob Sullivan who covers Internet scams and consumer fraud for MSNBC.com.
A few days ago, Bob Sullivan posted an article on the Red Tape Chronicles about Cyberbullying, which has nothing to do with the government bureaucracy, scams, fraud or corporate sneakiness.
Since Bob didn't want to answer my questions, I decided to post my letter on the Rip-off website Here is the note that Bob didn't want to answer!
Sir,
First of all, Cyberbullying does not have anything to do with government bureaucracy, corporate sneakiness and outright scam artists Internet scams or consumer fraud!
So my question is when will you do a story on Government Bureaucracy?
Will you take the time to report on the Avian Flu cover up? Or does this sound to radical; is it too controversial for you and the folks at MSNBC?
You see this story that you do begins back in the mid-seventies during the swine flu scare. After the scare, Congress passed a law/mandate/resolution that required a report/planning and preparation for a Pandemic are we ready for a Pandemic now?
You see every year since 1976/1977; the Republicans and Democrats did nothing.in fact, the Republicans for the most part were in control over this and nothing happened.
Do you feel safe and confident with our Governments preparations for a Pandemic?
We had close to thirty vaccine manufactures in this country during the Seventies how many manufactures do we have in this country now?
Now let's fast forward to the present.
The fact remains that Indonesia is currently the hot spot for Avian Flu and all experts who are not part of the World Health Organization, (WHO,) are concerned about the lack of action and the lack of information from this organization!
Please think about this little known fact for a moment. The WHO can not release information unless the host country agrees. (This has to do with potential royalties from future vaccines it is all about money.) In other words, the WHO hands are tied this is not a conspiracy and it is not a plot.
Why is this a problem?
Since the WHO can not release any information with out permission, the world's experts are not able to track the H5N1's mutations, because they do not have access to vital information!
Because of this, you and I and the rest of the world will end up being the losers if a Pandemic develops.
Have you looked into this? Would this be the mandate of the Red Tape Chronicles?'
Would you like to know what is occurring within our Government, which I consider to be a joke and waste of taxpayer dollars?
Here our country is testing thousand and thousands of wild birds for Avian Flu and I predict that this testing will not be effective.
First you just need to look at what happened with the West Nile Virus they tested live bird after live bird and did not find a thing, the testing was also not effective. Bob they should be looking for and testing dead birds. That is the lesson that West Nile taught.
That is a simple and well known fact: The only reason they discovered that the West Nile Virus was in our country is because dead birds were tested.
When they tested live birds, they could not and were not able to track the virus's progression across the country. Again, you test dead birds, you test sick people. You do not test live birds.
We are now testing live bird after live bird looking for H5N1 what a waste. We have not learned a thing!
When will you do a story on Peak Oil?
The reason why I ask this is because it has to do with Corporate Sneakiness isn't this what the Red Tape Chronicles' is all about?
Bob, my first question on this subject is just how much oil does it take to make 1000 pounds of fertilizer?
Now the oil companies have known for years that it was getting harder and harder to find oil.in fact, they have known this since the sixties!
When a product starts running out, any product, would you invest in infrastructures that is needed for Oil?
Now while you think about that question, please keep in mind that BP decided to manipulate propane prices in the winter of 2005. BP also decided to go against well know and established anti-corrosion practices for the feeder pipelines in Alaska.
The government of Alaska and the US knew this; BP employees have been complaining for years, did anyone listen?
While you ponder this ask yourself, when was the last super tanker built?
Does any oil company have more on the drawing board? How many oil drilling rigs did we have in the Seventies and how many do we have now? Why is Saudi Arabia asking for outside investors? Why did OPEC falsify reserve estimates?
When a product starts running out, you don't spend your money on pipes, ships, or drilling rigs! You start maximizing your profits on what little product that you have. That is similar to what is going on isn't it?
The world is now at an Oil Production Plateau' and it is not going to get better. So why don't you put your lazy fingers to work and start writing about Corporate Sneakiness?
Why haven't you written about the complete and total disconnect that more and more people have towards our government?
Think about this for a second, today they announced that a major terror threat was foiled and I just don't believe it.
When our government announced that major Terror Cells were busted in Chicago, New York, and Florida I didn't believe it then and I don't believe it now.
A lot of people no longer believe what is announced because our Government conducts trials by media. They don't convict people in courts!
Our Homeland Security folks have a 10% conviction rate with terror suspects and the other 90% were falsely accused. I also willing to bet that if you looked at the FBI's arrest record that most of the arrests were for small time drugs just like there record was back in the seventies, eighties and nineties.
Ask yourself the following questions about this so called major terror threat that was foiled.
If they knew that the terrorists were planning a practice run to see if they could sneak the chemicals onto a plane and then actually try to make an attack a few days later, why didn't they arrest them the day of the practice flight? Why didn't they arrest them at the airport? Why didn't they wait and arrest them as they tried to board a plane?
What kind of sorry excuse will the authorities use to explain why they didn't want to act on the day of the Practice Run'? Will it be, we didn't want to jeopardize the safety of innocent citizens?
If these terrorists were arrested with tickets and packed bags in hand, along with the actual chemicals, I would then be inclined to believe that they were planning an attack.
Bob, here is a scary question for you: How do you wean people from airplanes and just how do you make money from air travel? Answer: You claim that people were going to blow up planes, your arrest them and you then conduct your investigation, trial and conviction through the news media!
You know as well as I do that people can purchase futures on the stock market. That you can bet if a stock will go up or down and if you bet right, make a lot of money did terrorists place any bets on the stock market? Did government officials place any bets on the stock market? Have any Scotland Yard Officials or CIA/FBI/Homeland Security agents bought futures for the Airlines lately?
Is this crazy talk? Bob Homeland Security agents are buying personal boats, computers and Apple I-pods with there Government Issued Credit Cards and if they are doing that why wouldn't they profit on the Stock Markets from inside knowledge about terror threats and investigations?
Next question: Why don't you write a story about our Governments support of a State Religion?
Republicans have forced a State Religion on the citizenry of the United States with the so called Federal Government Faith Based Initiative' Grants and I have some questions about this unconstitutional abuse of taxpayer dollars!
First of all: Are these funds being equally distributed to Hindu, Muslim, Jewish groups? If the answer is no and if these grants are going to a vast majority of Christian organizations then our government is promoting a State Religion!
Bob does that bother the folks at MSNBC?
My next question over this Faith Based Initiative Grants' is just how much has been spent nationwide and how much has/have crime, teen pregnancy, and drug abuse dropped nationwide? What do the national statistics say?
I do not want to hear the so called local numbers, nor do I want to hear what these fanatical religious groups say or report I want to know if the national numbers reflect a major and significant drop in these problem/targeted areas. After all taxpayer dollars are being spent/wasted by these religious groups and they claim that faith will produce miracles so what do the national numbers show?
Have there been any Miracles? Have there been any Miracles with our Tax dollars?
Or are there now a bunch of religious leaders living in 500k homes and driving there kids to soccer practice in Hummers?
Bob, does it bother you or your coworkers that our basic rights are being destroyed by a fanatical President and Congress?
Because a Christian Fascist is now in control of our country, the public is being told that we are in a war that will last for decades and as a result of this never ending war, we have to give up some Constitutional Rights!
Here is very scary question: Will President Bush declare an emergency, suspend voting/elections, and suspend Congress, for the duration of said emergency in 2008?
Bob, what is there too stop our very devout Christian President from doing this?
Think about this for a moment we have a bunch of Christians who are convinced that we are close to the End of Times' and who believe that an Anti-Christ will come to power
Did it ever occur to these stupid Christians that if there is to be an Anti-Christ' it is because it was the Christians who voted him there? Did it ever occur to Christians' that they will be the ones who will willingly give the Anti-Christ power; that they will willingly give up rights to the Great Deceiver'?
All I am saying is that moronic Muslims voted there own Demons to power, that history shows that all religions do this and we now have our very own demons in Washington D.C... And Christians put them there!
Speaking of Demons Bob, just how many people died at the hands of Saddam Hussein? How many people have died at the hands of US forces during both wars? Do the scales balance?
Saddam Hussein is starting to look like an angel!
Bob, does anyone at MSNBC compare Bush with Osama Bin Laden? Isn't that a scary thought?
I am not making this up the court of world public opinion; including a growing number of loyal US Citizens who love this great country see no difference between Bush and Osama Bin Laden.
Are you or your coworkers going to do a story about this? Will you write about the terrible price we have paid for this so called Great War that will never end?
Will you write about the great deception that has been pulled on the American People? The deception being with regards to Terror we are not in, this will never be and this is not a war on terror! I do not care how many times that the Great Deceiver President George W. Bush says it this is not a war!
Do you or anyone at MSNBC really know what the definition of War' is?
What is going on in Iraq is a Civil War and if you get down to the facts, that little problem in Afghanistan is not over with either!
So much on winning the war on Terrorism what a joke and what a lie!
Will you write about the freedoms and rights that have been lost since 9/11?
Speaking of Constitutional Rights let me ask you, can you or your coworkers just stand and hold a protest sign without being shot?
Do you think that I am joking?
Protesters are being shot with rubber bullets and the police laugh about it!
Why don't you ask Clay Hinson about being shot in the back by laughing Oakland Police Officers? Why don't you ask Elizabeth Ritter about being shot in the face by laughing Florida Broward County Deputy Sheriff's?
Why don't you talk to Beverly Young who is the wife of Republican US Representative C.W. "Bill" Young why she was arrested by the Capital Police? Ask her if we have the Right' to petition our Government in this county?
The fact remains that family members of Congress have already been arrested at Republican functions because of T-shirts and other forms of petition/protests that were being worn!
US Citizens are becoming afraid of our own Government because we are being arrested over bumper stickers.US Citizens are afraid of being shot in the back by laughing police officers!
American's are being detained, arrested, and jailed over signs, bumper stickers and T-shirts! You and the Media have allowed this by not writing about it! The Congress and Senate have allowed this to happen by doing nothing!
Can you petition our government with a grievance by holding a sign next to the route of a Presidential motorcade? Not anymore the courts say we can not do that anymore!
We have a President who is afraid of US Citizens! He does not want to see protesters and he does not want to hear from people who say he is wrong!
Bob? Can you or anyone at MSNBC write about this? Can you write about this with out having Bush Supporters Blackballing you? If you write about this stuff would the IRS audit you? Would the FBI wiretap you? Would you be placed on the Homeland Security's No Fly List' just for asking questions? (Kind of like what I am doing now will this letter put me on that no fly list?)
You see, this letter is all about Freedom of Speech and when I post it on the Internet, it is then about Freedom of the Press. So what kinds of retaliation will the Government takes against me? Will it be Wiretaps? Will it be a Search Warrant?
Is this why you won't do a quality story?
Bob, earlier I asked just how much oil does it take to make 1000 pounds of fertilizer? This is an important question and I will give you a clue as to why it is so important how many people did an acre of land support 100 years ago and how many people does an acre support now?
Bob, with supercomputers and with all of the possible scenarios; what is the best guess for where we will be at in the next 20 years?
Based on a very conservative estimate on air pollution, water pollution, population growth, oil consumption, energy use, weather, and soil erosion just what are the experts best guess?
What are the five, ten, fifteen, and twenty year projections telling us?
Bob? Why won't you write a story about how Senators and US Representatives will not answer voter's questions anymore? What are they afraid of? If I sent this letter to Senator Lieberman or Senator Specter, would they answer? No they wouldn't!
If I sent this to Congresswoman Gene Schmidt, would she respond? No way! She is too busy calling a War Hero a Coward!
I don't know if you made it this far Bob, but if you have, this next part will show you just how bad things have become because of the religious republican nut cases who are running this country!
You see, as I write to you, there is an investigation going on!
Are you intrigued? Are you curious?
You see in this country, some of the most vulnerable citizens are being severely abused by there caretakers and I can not tell you where. I can not tell you what city or in what state this is going on because innocent people will be persecuted by the authorities!
This is not a joke!
You see the authority's make the workers sign statements that state they will be prosecuted if they tell outsiders what is going on.
So if I say who told me, they will go to jail!
Now there are several investigations going on by the Federal Government and by the State Authorities the same people who threaten the workers with arrest and prosecution for speaking publicly are conducting the investigations!
Would you like to hear what else is going on?
These same state and federal officials threaten the workers with jail if they don't pull double shifts! These caretakers are threatened with jail time if they can not come in to work because of icy roads did you know that this goes on in the United States?
They can not even go home if they are injured on the job or if they are sick!
Did you know that these same state and federal officials threaten the caretaker/worker with arrest and prosecution if they do not immediately report wrong doing by fellow co-workers?
Bob, could you work sixteen or eighteen hours at a time, not including travel to and from work, without snapping? Could you provide cheerful and professional care while doing heavy manual labor? Could you do it without defending yourself from injury or attack?
Do you think that I could go to the FBI or State about this? Do you think I could go to local officials about this and give them a third party report?
Do you think I would trust people who I consider to be corrupt? Officials like Eagleton who couldn't recognize a crime even if it was committed in front of them?
If I did that, then a lot of innocent people who witnessed what I described would be punished and persecuted by the Government!
You see, I could put you in touch with the people who saw all of this occur first hand, but they are too afraid to say anything. They are too afraid of the Republicans who are in charge and they are too afraid of the Government who made those rules. They are afraid of the police and prosecutors and more importantly they are afraid of the Media!
Meanwhile, because of lack of training, lack of proper supervision, lack of proper rest your loved one will taken behind closed doors and this happens in the USA!
And all MSNBC can do is write about fake diseases and Cyberbullying?
And MSNBC wants to write about robots and fat babies?
