Dewayne Clifton White—Dead Beat Dad—Owes in the vicinity of $80000. He has 2 sons now ages 19 and 20. Dewayne has paid very little over the past 18 years. The amt he owes in arrears is enough to put these 2 young men through college, instead they are using gov. Money (financial aide) to cover college expenses. If the government would rather pay for college expenses, medicaid, welfare, etc.instead of tracking dead beat parents and making that parent responsible instead of the State taking responsibility—well, OK. It's not right but that is how things are.
He was court ordered years ago to pay child support. Dewayne is crafty, sneaky and a compulsive liar. He travels (lives for short periods of time) between Vermont, Florida and Tennessee. Dewayne will work at jobs such as House of Pancakes and other chain restaurants (he is a cook) but stays one step ahead of child support. It's almost like he knows he's close to being caught. He will then quit and move to another job in another state.
Dewayne—If you see this I would like for you to know that you missed out on 2 wonderful boys that have grown into honest, caring young men. One of your sons is going to college majoring in physical ed and is playing college football. The other is going to college to become a police officer.
Dewayne—You may think you won because you were able to duck paying child support but in the long run - you lost—you lost out on a lot and I honestly feel MY boys are all the better for it.
