iPhone Navigator Loses GPS Signal and Keeps Dropping

My new iPhone does not receive reliable GPS signal for the ATT navigator ap that I am paying $10/month for. I am now getting lost as my signal is constantly dropping. I never had any issues using ATT navigator software with my old BlackBerry
