I have been a customer of T-mobile's service for about 6-7 months now I have never had a problem with their service other than the coverage in the south end of Colorado Springs. I pay $190 dollars a month and have not once missed a bill or even been late. I just started my new billing cycle this month I am currently 5 day's into my service and I recieve a text message from T-mobile stating that i have used to much data this month and they will be shutting my 3G off... Now my so called "SMARTPHONE" (Vibrant) is not working right almost all my aplications use the internet or stay running in the backgound and now none of these applications will even open. If they do they run slow and froce close I went to the store that i bought it and they could not help me they told me to use my task manager and pull the battery out and wait 10 sec then turn it back on. When they could not fix my problem I called 611 to speak to someone then I was informed that my "unlimited" Data plan had reached its limit of 5g in 5 days there is no way i could have done that, and I would have to pay full price for my plan and recieve a downgraded service. The boy that spoke to "cody" informed me that i should not use my phone so much and try and conserve the "unlimited" data plan so things like this will not happen and there is nothing he can do. I do understand that I used that much data and I should be charged for my usage but but the fact of the matter is that I was told that everytime I turned that phone on I would be able to use every application on it and my GPS that was a key selling point for me as a car Salesman I use my phone for everything my GPS will not work because the internet is too slow I am paying extra on that because I need to get customers or deliver a vehicle. Pandora force closes like all my app's I finally got a zedge to stay open and work to download a ringtone and it took 20 min's to finish, i called several times to see if we can fix this or help me in any way and each time I got the same response "Dont be so greedy with 3G it could crash our towers thats why we enforce it. I asked to speak to a manager and some man comes on the phone and tells me that I should not complain becaus eeven the owner of T-mobiles got a cap on his too... That is true I understand but I was under the impression that my phone would have 3G and it would work everywhere and I am sure that the owner does not pay that much for his phone. I asked for some sort of compensation due to the and I was laughed at and told no. I am shutting my service with T-mobile off at the end of this month due the amount of DISRESPECT I recieved from everyone at T-mobile and the lack of customer service I WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO T-Mobile.
