A sales person came to our home selling christian videos and totally played on our emotions telling us that these videos would be good for our family becuase we were newlyweds preparing to have children. We specifically asked the individual if we purchased the videos and later were in finacial hardships if we could cancel buying the Living Scriptures product. The salesman specifically told us that we could cancel at any time!!! This was definitely not the case.
Six months later having financial hardships as many newlywed couples do we tried to find places where we could cut back the bills obviously the videos were a great place to start. When we wanted to cancel, the company told us that we could only cancel if we payed the commision of the salesman which by the way was $650.00 THAT'S CRAZY!
We did not pay it and kept sending the videos back to the company. The Living Scriptures company turned us into collections and our credit has been totally ruined. We had trouble getting better auto insurance and other important financial issues have come up. All because of these videos that are supposed to promote Christian values. Excuse my french but my butt!
This company is nothing short of criminal. What company goes about making people sign contracts for their product then doing everything they can to ruin them if they decide that the product is not working for the individuals. LIVING SCRIPTURES DOES!!!
Be very careful this company is shady!
