I saw the advert for'free slimming aid' and stupidly i applied all i had to do was pay the postage which i did with my credit card. After i paid it came up that i had joined a club and that £28 would be taken from my account. I immediately tried to phone them but after being connected and waited for over 10 minutes i gave up and tried to email them twice. I received the free trial two packages and opened one and put a letter inside telling them i was not interested and returned them to the address on the package. This happened about 3/4 weeks ago i also contacted the bank and told them that on no account was any money to be taken from my account by this company. I have not heard a word from this company. Then yesterday i checked my bank statement and found that two payments had been taken for £69-90 totaling £139-90 by mizulean i telephoned the bank and explained and they told me to cancel my card and they would look into this for me. If they had cancelled the card in the first place this would never have happened. I have sent more emails to them and to the head office in brea california U.S. A hoping that i may get my money back. I am a very stupid old lady who should eat less instead of being conned by this dreadful company... The bank said that giving my credit card details gives them the ok to take my money... I have purchased nothing received nothing so what gives them the right to help themselves to our money... This is unfair...
