I am a class action attorney in California investigating WiMacTel's business practices. WiMacTel fails to disclose any rates or even a warning that credit card calls cost thousands of times more than coin calls.instead it suggests you may be able to find out the rate through the phone. WiMacTel fails to realize that even a true stated is actionable under California's consumer protection laws it is is couched in such a manner as to deceive a reasonable consumer. Given the high number of complaints, reasonable consumers are no doubt being deceived. WiMacTel won't be the first telco to learn this expensive lesson.
