This building was purchased from foreclosure through Frost Bank. We had signed a lease with Rick LaGrange who had represented the management company in the interum. When Mr. Montelongo took over he began bringing in all of his "wolfpak' telemarketing sales pitch agents, his corporate offices, the parking became unbearable. The dress code is unprofessional and offensive to our clients. We are a civilized Certified Public Accountant Agency. We had been the original tenants in this building for 6 years. We were emailed that our lease was not legal and they wanted an extra $150 a month for upkeep. We wanted to leave. We negotiated however never received a revised lease. The handicapped parking places were always taken by Mr. Montelongo's Hummer and his brothers Range Rover, the office manager said that he could park wherever he wanted, it was his building. One of the existing tenants, an AllState Agent, was evicted because he asked Mr. Montelongo's children to stop playing football in the front of the corridor while he was trying to conduct insurance business. Security is everywhere because the company is always under seige from people who are upset about the loss of money invested in his seminars or exemployees who have not been paid. We were locked out by his inhouse attorney Andy Moon and his business manager Stacy Rodriguez. The letter which was posted on the front door stated that we had abandoned our office, we had an understanding with their attorney Andy Moon that we would be there on the 3rd of Nov. To remove our business items. Security said we were no longer tenants and come back Monday. We were turned away again, I had an anxiety attach and my husband was sent to the hospital the next day from the police department for high blood pressure when trying to get help from the Jones Maltsberger Sub station. We are turning to every local and legal department we can as we do not have a lot of cash in which they feel they are owed. At one point we were offered the opportunity to return if; we gave them $20,000 of my jewelry to insure one years residency, two more months rent in advance, $100 for rekeying the door and our expense to resinsulate the walls between offices as there was no confidentiality. I believe this to be extortion. I asked to at least get into my suite to get my crutch and medication to which I was turned down. These people are heartless and out for themselves. Beware of who you climb in bed with on a business level. I am looking at all levels in which to notify and warn people who have dealings with Armando Montelongo or Montelongo Properties, LLC. He is quite well known in Austin, IRS, White Collar Crimes Division.
