I am having a FORD FIESTA 1.6 Duratec Zxi ABS Petrol Car which i bought on 8th Dec..., I likes the car so much that i bought this car which was a limited edition car from FORD... My Car number is:- RJ 14 CD 5544...
But, i was shocked when My Car got fire on 30th Oct which i have never heard in past that any FORD car has got fire...
After this i called Ford Jaipur, they told that no one is free in our office... Then i insistited that my car has got fire and somehow due to help of some road-sided it has not exploded... Otherwise it would have taken many lives including my wife who was driving the car at that time... And then i told them to send someone and finally i went to ford service centre and picked a driver along with me, who when inspected the car and tols me that the car has to towed and sent to service centre... Then i called 24 Hour On Raod assistance of FORD for towing van, but they simply replied that our towing van will come tomorrow, but the car was standing on road so finally i managed to call Aditya Break Down service at Jaipur and they picked my car and left at Ford Jaipur...
Then next day, ford techinician inspected my car and told me that due to some problem in Power stearing pressure pipe the car has caught fire...
Then i told him that i remember that ford has called my car back at their service centre last year in Jaipur... Saying that there in some problem in power stearing pressure pipe from FORD and they want to check my car... And After checking they have put some holder in my car which is holding the pipe and pulling it down... For which they have told me that it is for my safety... But, now my car caught fire only due to leakage of oil from that part which they have clipped..., and then ford Jaipur told me that they have forwarded the case in FORD company and they will not charge me for burnt pipe
I am attaching some pics for your reference, which i took at ford service centre, which clearly shows that holder i am talking about...
I am also attaching the Pre Invoicing from KS Cars Pvt Ltd, which states the part which they have changed as they have taken payment from me against this pre-invoicing only and tols me that they will courier my invoice later on...
But, i have some questions:-
1) My wife was in the car when this happened what if my car has exploded???
2) How can a company like FORD, risk the life of their customer...???
3) How can i be sure, that this will not happen again???
4) How can the car of FORD caught FIRE???
Now, my family is telling me and my wife not to drive this car as they don't want to risk my / my wife life? What to do???
So, i need a permanent solution to the problem as all this has happened due to fault in my FORD car?
And a letter from FORD stating that:-
FORD will be responsible for any type of human or material damage which will happen if my car catches fire in FUTURE...
Requesting you to take immediate action in this matter as i can't drive my car now (as i will always be in fear that car can catch fire again anytime)
I have a strong feeling that my car has manufacturing defect in it and necessary action is awaited from FORD
Waiting for a quick response from your side otherwise i will refer the case to:- NEWS-PAPERS, MEDIA, CONSUMER COURT, SOCIAL SITES ETC...
