I purchased a pup from Sterling out of his Gunner & Gidget litter that was born Nov-23 and the pup ended up with HIP DYSPLASIA at the age of 5 months old. We sent the exrays to Sterling and he was fine with giving us our money back in full if we sent the pup back. I told him that my family was to attached to the pup to send him back and could we work something out. I have 5 little kidz and the oldest is 7yrs old and they all just loved the dog. Sterling said" no problem I am very easy to get along with, we can work it out". So as time went on the pup started to get very grumpy about his condition, he could not climd up and down the stairs and was unable to play with the other dogz so we decided it was best to find him a home without all the kidz. I informed Sterling that we were going to rehome him to a family that didnt have any kidz to bug him and we would beable to visit him whenever we wanted. He said no problem, so we gave the the pup away for free at the age of 7months old. My wife talked to Sterling a few times after that and he was trying to convince her to breed our Kong female to his Stud HD Gunner and he would take pic of the litter and wave the 500 dollar fee that he charges for the breeding to replace the pup that we just paid 1675 shipping and taxes. Great deal eh, not. Sterling and I talked about breeding HD Gunner to my female before my pup got Hip Dysplasia and he said he would wave the 500 because he really wanted a pup from that breeding. I called Sterling and told him we were not interested in the breeding and would like some kind of a refund, Sterling said he charges 500 less for pet home pups and he would send back 500 dollars. I said I was lookin for more like half the money back and he got a little pissy and asked to speak to my wife. I told him she didnt want to talk to him because he was trying to pressure her into doing a breeding with Gunner who might have given my pup HD. Well when that was said he demanded the pup be returned and he would refund our money. I told him we already rehomed the pup because he said we could and he said too bad for you. THIS GUY IS A CON, CROOK AND A LIAR, HE TALKS THE BIG TALK BUT DOES NOT CARE FOR THE DOGZ OR THE PEOPLE HE HURTS, JUST IN IT FOR THE MONEY!!! This pup went to a wealthy family of two and they will most likely have to fork out 5000 to have this pup fixed up. Sterling was going to put the dog down. I dont understand why a so-called breeder would demand the pup to be returned from a family who loved him so much just to destroy it. ITS NOT RIGHT!!! DONT BE FOOLED BY HIM, he is still breeding Gunner but got rid of Gidget and didnt keep any of the pups off that litter, I WONDER WHY ANDREW
