My Husband recieved a letter stating he had won $75,000 and a check for $3,650. The letter stated that he needed to pay the tax for the prize and to send the tax payment of $1,920 to a Mrs Grace Walker, 5 Clendon Way London United Kingdom SE18 7DR via Western Union or Money Gram. Mr Marvin Anderson stated my husband had won because his name was pulled from a drawing that included Wal-Mar, Walgreen Sears, ASDA, Staples, Safeway and Novartis. The check had Mercury Insurance Group name on it and was from B of A. We took the check to B of A and it was a scam as we thought. Please be aware of these scams.
