I would like to report a scam and wander if you could offer me some legal advice on how I can
bring a lawsuit against Anastasia International Dating Agency. I wish to share my experience with you to ensure that nobody else is subjected to such a blatant deception in the future.
In the late beginning of I foolishly joined Anastasia Date Agency as I thought they
were reputable organisation as they claimed to be on their website. This agency
was founded in 1993 by a Russian-American couple and has its offices in Russia
and America. I understand that trying to find love online can be very risk, however, there is no crime in wanted to share the rest of your life with a woman who has strong family values, sense of loyalty and integrity. After joining their website, I began to correspond with one particular lady and wrote
to and received from her more than 10 letters. However, after a while the letters became very similar in nature and I decided to delete my profile. After approximately 6 months I decided to check
this lady profile again as I kept her ID number all this time. When I opened her profile I was astonished to see the lady with whom I corresponded and the pictures of the new lady were two different people. So, I immediately contacted Anastasia Date Agency to express my concern. They sent to me 2 emails.in the first one the simply stated that: it seems to be the same lady and suggested me to view the Video Service of this profile. The video of this lady only confirmed my suspicions and I again contacted the Agency.in the second reply they admitted that their professionally trained photographers using different gimmicks such as make-up to alter the persons appearance.
However, even the best plastic surgeon in the world is not capable of changing somebodys
appearance to such degree. Even if two ladies are indeed the same individual, I still think that what they do is unethical, unprofessional and most importantly illegal. They blatantly deceive their customers by deliberately enhancing the ladies appearances to the extent that the ladies become unrecognisable in real life.By doing so they commit a fraud as I believe that the whole aim of this
exercise is to show how the lady looks in her actual life and whether the visitors of the website will find this particular lady attractive.
Recently, I filed complaint with Better Business Bureau, but the agency in question failed to respond to it. Shortly after this, all the pictures of the lady that I corresponded with have been deleted from internet networks.
I think it is very simple case. I believe that they simply used a professionally trained model to pose in this profile and when the actual owner of it decided to publish her actual pictures the Agency understood they have a problem on their hands. So, I am asking you to help me to return my
money that I earned with sincere, honest and hard labour and they so easily and unscrupulously scammed me out of it. I am asking to help me to bring this people to justice and make customers more aware.
