This person first contacted me via email stating he worked for a charity and wish to hire chair covers from me (i work part-time as a wedding decorator) for a charity event. The first hire went will even tho he sent other people (he stated he is very old and writes like an old person) to pay for the covers hire and took them, they did bring them back and all was well. The second time he asked for covers i was only selling as old stock, i told him i would sell them to him for £3 each with free sash hire. The covers was picked up on a wenesday again by someone he sent and he stated that the charity couldnt release the funds until friday everyweek so he would send someone around with the money on saturday. On the monday i emailed him as no money arrived and he sent me an email from someone claiming they had put the money throw a door (our door) but we never recieved any more. He has sinse told me someone from his charity would ring to sort payment, they never did. He said he would send my sashes back and they have not arrived. He has taken over £500 worth of items from me. He has now stopped replying to emails after i asked him for his charities reg. No. Its clearly all fake and a scam.
