I applied to Models Pro modelling agency via gumtree and was sent an email saying my application was successful and I needed to contact Roy. I spoke to Roy and he asked for a £25 deposit which I aid giving them my bank details which I later changed. I was then told I will have to pay an a minimum of £300 for a photoshoot they claimed to have booked for me which I needed in order to get jobs although they claimed in the very same email they gave me the information they had found jobs for me. They then claimed that failure to attend without informing the studio meant a penalty fine. I called them to cancel but that proved difficult and eventually, they claimed to take me to court for damages. I also checked with some of their supposed clients like H&M to enquire whether they worked with them and they replied that they had no knowledge of working with models pro.
