We contacted Jory about some Blue and gold macaws she had, and some macaw eggs. She told us her father had passed away and she was unable to keep the birds and was happy to give them away to someone who would be able to look after them, we just had to pay the delivery charge. Today, I paid $514 AUD via western union wire to the transport company and was advised the birds would arrive tomorrow morning. I then recieved another email requesting another $300 for pet insuarnce which needed to be paid asap or the birds would miss the flight tomorrow. I paid the $300 again via western union but felt uneasy about it. We then researched some more with the transport company and found we'd been scamed. I was able to cancel the $300 for insurance but couldn't stop the $514.
