Thanks to scambook, I didn't fall for this guy. He responded to my Craigslist ad selling furniture and offered to buy it sight unseen via PayPal for a shipping company to pick up. When I searched his email address because it sounded fishy, I discovered multiple reports of the same m.O. From this guy who was intending to scam me with a false overpayment that I would be expected to refund. The emails were in broken English, a hallmark of the scam artist.
