I received a call stating, "This is your captain speaking" and how I had "won" 2 free tickets for a cruise to Nassau and that I could claim my tickets after a brief survey. I answered the questions and spoke with a woman who verified my name and phone number, and zip code. I then received automated instructions to go to the website www.surveycruise.com and to enter my phone number and zip code and I did this several times only to get error messages. This is undoubtedly a scam and more importantly, I WANT TO KNOW HOW THEY GOT MY PHONE NUMBER!?!?!?!? An LA Times reporter was even scammed by these same people! They need to be stopped!
