While browsing through jobs on kijiji, I came across a part-time flexible administrative assistant position. I decided to apply and next day I heard from them. While reading the e-mail, it sounded kind of fishy. I had never heard of travelzoo before, so I decided to visit their website through the link that "Jane Wilson" had provided. After doing some research about the company I thought it was an ok to reply to this job offer.
This is the first email that I got:
Hello.
We have received your resume in regard of the job application.
We are pleased to inform you that you are qualified for the position of Administrative Assistant. You will find more information about salary and tasks to perform on Job Description. Doc.
Application procedure
1. Become familiar with the Job Description.
2. We send you an Application Form if you are interested in this position you should to fill them in and forward to us by email.
The stages of the application procedure are simple and thus will allow us to start the application procedure within 1-2 days.

After being stupid enough to complete the application form, which unfortunately includes name and last name, as well as address, I replied to this job offer.
They got back to me the next day, which was a saturday, and i didnt check my email until sunday and was surprised that they were working on a saturday so it started feeling wrong. Moreover the job description, consists of e-interact transfers that customers send to you. So it really sounded like a scam from the start, however they had taken their time to write things in a somewhat professional way. Anyways after doing a bit research I realized that it is a scam as I feared. Please don't be fooled, they offer too good of a salary for this to be true. I emailed travelzoo (the legit one) and asked them if that email belong to them, and I am still waiting for a reply. I hope they take some action.
