I have been buying propane from Suburban Propane since I acquired my house in 2004. The Nobile Home park apparently had a contract with them to supply everyones propane. For years I had nothing good to say for their office employees. On Jan my budget went from $163.00 to $299.00 a month. On 3/24 I spoke to Crystal, why was there no price per gal. On my Budget payment bill. She said well it is $3.09-I said would be nice to have price on my bill like other months. On 5/2 I again called-still no price per gal.- well it is $2.99. I also questioned why the transportation fuel surcharge went from 95 cents to $1.75 and she said its just the cost of doing business. I said you are ripping people off in here-5 people on my street-so you get $8.75 for driving 1 block-yet you deliver out on a country road for miles and only get your $1.75. 5/5 I called Crystal and she said I was suppose to receive a billing statement and a Budget payment plan statement. I said NO, Never, have I ever received more than the budget payment plan bill. I got a Budget payment plan bill on 5/20 and they had my $299.00 credited as of 5/18, but lo & behold on my 6/20 bill, they tacked on $4.49 late charge. On 8/1 I spoke to Crystal and said come and get your meter-she said well there will be a $30.00 charge to plut the meter & an extra charge to remove it. I said NO Way, I will not pay it. On 8/30 I spoke to Wynetta-I asked if this conversation is being recorded for quality purposes (because I really wanted it to be). I said I have -0- balance with you and I want to know my account is closed, Oh because of the Hurricane our computers are down, but as soon as they come up-I will call you to verify your acct. Is closed, NO CALL YET to this day. 9/13 I called Crystal, because I got a bill stating $30.00 due for close out of the acct, I asked Crystal for her Manager & she said Mary is in a mtg. She will call you bank, well at 4:45 P.M. A man (Vernon) left a message on my answering machine stating the close out fee is posted on their front counter. How would I see that-I don't even know where their front counter is or where their business is located. 9/14 I called, Lynn said Vernon is in a mtg. Another of their lies, no call since 9/13 on my answering machine. 3/10 $3.09 a gal. 4/10 $2.99 a gal. On 4/15 I changed companies and I got 2 new 100 lb. Tanks and it cost me $2.10 a gal. I would never ever recommend their Co. To anyone and over the past 7 years I have probably spent close to $14,000.00 and I am still stuck with looking at their meter (which is in my way) and they still want to bleed another $30.00 out of me. Why not come for their meter & give me a $30.00 credit to erase my debit with them? I cannot see why anyone would deal with this company
