Unfortunately when my father was still alive, St Matthew's Churches sent him a letter in the mail one day. And after reading the letter followed all the directions in the letter for the various things they told him to do for prayer.including sending the letter back with a small financial gift.
How long his communication with them went on I
don't know, but I became aware of it when my dad became ill with cancer and moved in with me so that I could take care of him.
I didn't say anything to him that this might be a rip-off because after-all he's elderly and terminal with cancer, he had to have something to believe in and has always believed in God.
But after my father passed away in June of this year, I wrote St Matthew's a letter telling them that my father had passed away and to please stop sending the letters.
Well it hasn't of course stopped, I've received to this date six more letters. All of which are in my father's name. I have returned all of these unopened by marking the envelope DECEASED! -return to sender! But still the letters from Saint Matthew's keep coming.
I am sick of this, everyday that I open my mailbox and see a letter from them addressed to my father, is another very painful reminder that my father is gone. Frankly I don't need any reminder's. I'm very painfully aware of the fact that my dad is no longer living. It's been three month's now since he passed away and there isn't a single day that goes by that I don't think of him!
Right now I'm at the point that if I could sue them for stress, pain and mental anguish and shut them down for-ever I would!
