Todd Verk ripped off over a dozen people in the Mercer County area. He owned Unique Designs Kitchens and Baths in Sharon, PA. He took their money and never ordered and/or delivered any of the products they paid for.
The worse part of this, is that this isn't the first time he's done this. I found an article in the Associated Press from January 22 stating that state prosecutors have sued him due to fraud in a mortgage scheme. He was a former notary public and car salesman who improperly signed dozens of mortgage documents for a company that lured low income/elderly people into home improvement contracts then failed to live up to promises.
