I went to Craig's List looking for a job and sent a resume to this man. He said he owned an Art Gallery in Austrailia and needed someone to purchase items for him and do some banking. Then I received a Cashier's Check from Cheryl Smith drafted from Peapack-Gladstone Bank, 500 Hills Drive, Bedminster, NJ 07921-1590, Branch # 1007. He asked me to cash the check then send $2,180. To Becky Hunter, Manila, Philippines via Western Union.
I then received another check the same as above via FedEx and was asked to proceed the same and sent $2,370.00 via Western Union to Becky Hunter again. Both of these checks never cleared and now this account is in the negative. I thought that Cashier's Check would be safe to cash. Let me say "THEY ARE NOT!!! I am pursuing legal counsel, however BEWARE!!!
