I ordered a NuWave PIC with the Buy One Get One Free offer August 13. I received the order a couple of weeks later. The packing list had everything that I ordered listed and said it was shipped (listed in the shipped column). I called the contact number as soon as I realized that there was a problem. I did not get an answer but left a voice mail with the problem and a number that I could be reached at. After not hearing from the company in 24 hours I again placed a call and also sent an email requesting help with the problem. After another couple of days when I got no response I started to call all the numbers listed. All I got was constant commercials or a voice telling me to leave a message and someone would get back to me.
After several days of this I called my credit card company and posted a complaint with them. They said that they would try to resolve the complaint. I then got an email from “Chelsea” at Hearthware.com saying she would look into the complaint. She got back with another email saying that I needed to pay another S&H charge. My S&H already was more than the cost of my merchandise that had been ordered. I was agreeing to pay that because the product seemed to be a good product.
Merchandise = $138.84
S&H = $149.80
Total = $288.64
