I visited BWX lounge and ordered an alcoholic beverage at the bar and a meal at the grill. About 30 minutes after being served the meal I was feeling a little dehydrated so request that the bar attendant serve me a glass of tap water. My request was refused. The bar attendant explained that she could not give me a glass of water. I could only get water if I was willing to pay $4.00 for a bottle of water. She continue to explain that she did not agree with this "rule" but since this decision was put in place by management she could be disciplined if she did not comply. I was really surprised and disappointment with this customer service experience. After patronizing this establishment with an entrance fee and purchasing an alcohol beverage and food I was truly disappointed to be informed that this dehydrated patron could not be served a glass of free water. My greater issue is the business' lack of concern about "over intoxication" that can occur when patron are not well hydrated and also drinking. This lack of concern is truly negligent and could lead to a violation of MD Code, Art. 2b, § 12-108
