US Directory called in July telling me that I could try their online advertising services for $5. I asked numerous times, making sure it was only $5, and told them I didn't want my credit card saved on file - that I wanted to try their services the first month and then decide if I wanted to use them.
Then, at the end of August they charged my card the $5, and also $90. I called them very upset, because they assured me it would only cost $5. The guy on the phone told me they charge $0.25 per time your website listing is referenced. This is impossible, because I track my website with google analytics, and there has never been close to 360 hits (that's how many times it would have been referenced to hit the $90 figure) and NOT ONE HIT came from their online directory. Throughout this last month, I had logged onto their merchant login portal to make sure that their fees are only $5 a month... There is NO MENTION of the $0.25 charge per listing reference.
I asked for my money back and to cancel the account. They won't give me my money back. This is a big scam!
